As you may recall, all of the poems disappeared from the tree back in November. After a short period of an empty poetry tree, I reposted our welcoming summary and two new poems in late November only to find first one sheet and then the other disappeared. The fact that they vanished over time rather than all at once seems to argue that it is the elements rather than an angry poetry hater or tree hugger that is responsible. With that in mind, I posted a new laminated welcoming summary and poems by Elizabeth Bishop and Philip Larkin early this week. In addition, a friend had posted the poem Cambridge by Jose Luis Borges, so the Poetry Tree is now festooned with three wonderful poems. I hope you enjoy them. Best wishes for the holidays.
