Fall on the Charles

Returned from summer in Vermont to find that the Wendell Barry and Emily Dickinson poems had disappeared and a new poem by Louise Gluck had been posted using a variation of the cabling system that has finally proven to be a durable and non-toxic method for fixing poems to the tree.  Looking forward to more poems being hung on the tree before the winter arrives.  I’ve noticed people stopping to read the poems on several occasions recently and it always gives me a life.  In addition, my daughter visiting from Brooklyn recently ate at a local restaurant where the waitress said she has enjoyed The Poetry Tree.  Love it!
