Winter arrives at The Poetry Tree?

The winter solstice arrived three days ago, it’s Christmas Day, but the temperature is hovering close to 70. Cherry trees are blooming, roses festoon bushes all over town, the willows still have green leaves, and snowdrops appeared in some gardens today—climate change has a small upside, I suppose. The fall poems are off the tree, though posted on the site. Winter poems by Stafford, Whitman, and Rilke are up. enjoy!
